While connected to the long history of both clay work and printmaking, clay monoprinting is a relatively new art form. Read more about it in my article, Art of the Clay Monoprint.
Like to see, purchase, or learn about clay monoprints in person? The Visual Realia Studio was opened in February of 2019 in downtown Gettysburg. Located in Studio 207 on the top floor of the wonderful Adams County Arts Council, you can browse the collection of monoprints.
Commissioned pieces are a great way to provide a unique gift or decorate your home or office space. You’ll be able to talk to the artist to establish your desired criteria, such as a thought, word or phrase, color palette, or concept.
